The appellant, Carol Ann Taylor, appeals from a judgment rendering her legally liable to repay a $16,000 loan from her parents. She defended against this claim by asserting that the loan had been forgiven as a gift. The district court rejected that contention on the ground that there was an absence of delivery necessary to render the alleged gift irrevocable.
