Appellee Jim Miller originally brought this action against appellee Meister & Segrist, his employer, for workers' compensation benefits. Appellant, GRE Insurance Group (GRE), Meister & Segrist's insurer, then brought an action as a third-party plaintiff against appellee State of Nebraska, Second Injury Fund (Fund) as a third-party defendant.
