Charles Edward Kennedy was convicted of attempted criminal sexual conduct in the first degree in violation of Minn.Stat. § 609.342, subd. 1(b) (1994). The court of appeals reversed the conviction because, in its opinion, the trial court committed prejudicial error by admitting evidence that Kennedy sexually assaulted the victim six months after the charged incident. ...
