Petitioner John Walter Castro, Sr. appeals the denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus seeking to overturn his conviction and sentence of death for first degree murder. We affirm.

BACKGROUND

On June 6, 1983, Mr. Castro was arrested for the armed robbery and felony-murder of Rhonda Pappan in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was placed in the Kay County jail. In August of 1983, Mr. Castro's cell mate in Kay County...
