PIERRON, J.:

John Arthur McGinnes appeals his conviction for one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, a severity level 3 person felony, in violation of K.S.A. 21-3504(a)(3)(A). McGinnes' arguments on appeal revolve around an inappropriate ex parte communication between the trial judge and the jury.

The parties do not dispute the facts, and McGinnes does not raise any issues challenging the sufficiency...
