In April 1996, Hazel Moncus, individually and as executrix of the estate of Julia Tatum, and Earl Perry sued David Keith Argo to set aside a deed from Tatum to Argo, on the grounds that Tatum was incompetent or that Argo exercised undue influence over Tatum.
