At approximately 6:45 a.m., on March 6, 1996, plaintiff-appellant, Judith A. Sterling, was shopping at the Big Bear store located in the Columbus Square Shopping Center. As she was walking between the office and the produce department, she fell and sustained a fracture to both her left elbow and her right ankle.
