CALLAHAN, C. J.

The defendant, Jose Crespo, appeals from a conviction of murder following a trial by a three judge panel.1 The conviction arose out of the May 24, 1994 strangulation death of the victim, Melanie Rieger. We affirm the defendant's conviction.
