This case, in its present posture, is a deceit action growing out of the sale of an air freight corporation. The buyer alleged, and the jury found, that the seller knowingly misrepresented the financial condition of the air freight corporation. The jury awarded $189,336.61 compensatory damages and $21,400,000.00 punitive damages for the fraud.
