Plaintiff-appellant, Theodore Marsh, appeals from a decision of the Middletown Municipal Court granting summary judgment in favor of defendant-appellee, Jimmy Lee Lampert. We affirm.

On September 11, 1996, Marsh filed suit against Lampert for breach of contract. The complaint alleged that the parties had entered into an oral agreement whereby Lampert would pay Marsh $4,000 if Marsh retired before the June 20, 1997 expiration of the sergeant...
