The defendant, Mary Lavergne, was originally charged with possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967(A)(1). Pursuant to a plea agreement, she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess Methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967(A)(1) and La.R.S. 14:26(A).
