The Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a bill of information charging the defendant with illegal possession of stolen things valued at over $500.00. At the arraignment, defendant pled not guilty. Following trial on October 20, 1997 and October 21, 1997, a unanimous jury found the defendant guilty as charged.
