A jury found Ronald Belcher guilty of robbery by sudden snatching. Viewed in the light most favorable to support the verdict, the evidence shows that on December 11, 1996, a man snatched Mary Ray's purse from her arm as she stood in front of the General Dollar Store in Adel, Georgia.
