In this opinion, we address the meaning of the phrase "unable to stand trial" found in article VI(a) of Nebraska's Agreement on Detainers (Agreement), Neb.Rev.Stat. § 29-759 (Reissue 1995). We consider whether the re-incarceration of a defendant in another state, which is unknown to the court and the prosecution, tolls the 180-day speedy trial provision contained in article III(a) of the Agreement.
