On November 14, 1993, 15-year-old Aaron Coleman was injured when a 32-foot citizen band radio ("CB") antenna that he was disposing of came into contact with an uninsulated power line owned by Alabama Power Company ("APCo"). Coleman suffered electrical burns to his left hand and had to have his left leg amputated below the knee. He and his parents, Jim and Annette Coleman, sued APCo, alleging that APCo had negligently and/or wantonly breached a duty...
