This case came before the Supreme Court on the appeal of the plaintiff, Todd Sunderland (Sunderland or Todd), and the crossappeal of the defendant, Allstate Insurance Company (Allstate). Both parties appeal from a Superior Court judgment confirming an arbitrators' award and allege errors relating to the methodology used by the trial justice in calculating prejudgment interest on an uninsured-motorist claim.
