Respondents John Kevin Clark and Maggie Lee Anderson brought this negligence action against Annette Rochelle Cantrell after an automobile wreck between Anderson and Cantrell. The jury returned a verdict finding Cantrell eighty-four percent at fault and liable for actual and punitive damages totaling $78,000 and $25,750, respectively.
