Linda Henthorn appeals from a judgment convicting her of attempted fraudulent acquisition of a controlled substance. Section 961.43(1)(a), STATS., prohibits persons from "acquir[ing] or obtain[ing] possession of a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud, forgery, deception or subterfuge." A jury found Henthorn guilty after hearing testimony that she presented an altered prescription form to a pharmacist...
