Brenda Holmes, as executrix of the estate of Albert Leroy Holmes, Jr., and Albert Holmes appeal the trial court's order dismissing their suit against the Chatham Area Transit Authority (CATA) on the ground they failed to give the State of Georgia proper ante-litem notice under the Georgia Tort Claims Act (the Act). Because CATA, as local government authority, is expressly excluded from the Act, we hold that
