The appellant, Corey Simon, who was sixteen years old at the time of the crimes, was convicted of malice murder, felony murder, armed robbery, and aggravated assault.1 He was sentenced to life imprisonment for malice murder and to a consecutive life sentence for the armed robbery conviction.
