After dark on the evening of January 17, 1997, Rafik Mirmohamed and his codefendant, Christopher Graham, entered an Amoco service station in Dublin, Ohio armed with a loaded Smith & Wesson .357 magnum revolver. Prior to entering the station, the two went to a nearby Sunoco where they purchased a pair of gloves. Each defendant took one glove from the pair and parked Graham's red Honda Prelude on a side street a short distance behind the Amoco station...
