Michael Janda brought this action against the City of Omaha (City) pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 201 through 219 (1994), alleging he was entitled to overtime wages for work performed in 1993, 1994, and 1995.
