LEWIS, J.:

Defendant appeals from a jury verdict awarding plaintiff $105,000 in compensatory damages and $50,000 in punitive damages. The verdict was rendered on plaintiff's claim that defendant was responsible for tortious interference with a prospective business advantage. Both parties have appealed. Plaintiff argues on appeal that the trial court erred in holding his action for defamation was time barred.
