Barbara Skaggs ("Skaggs"), individually and as guardian of the person and estate of Roy Skaggs, was the plaintiff1 in an civil lawsuit filed against defendant, Otis Elevator Company ("Otis"). After a four day jury trial, a verdict was entered for Otis.
