Connie Janssen (Janssen) was convicted of the abuse of a vulnerable adult, in violation of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-386 (Reissue 1995). Janssen appeals her conviction, arguing that the court erred in allowing a social worker to testify regarding the victim's mental and functional impairment, in not properly instructing the jury, and in not sentencing her to a term of probation.
