John Ramunno wanted to reap the benefits of a plea agreement without suffering the consequences of his bargain. A grand jury indicted Ramunno on cocaine conspiracy and possession charges. In an attempt to obtain a reduced sentence, Ramunno agreed to supply the Government with information about the cocaine conspiracy with which he was involved.
