This is a patent case. Plaintiff CFMT, Inc. is the owner and assignee of U.S. Patent No. 4,911,761 ("the '761 patent"). The '761 patent discloses a process and apparatus for drying surfaces, such as the surfaces of semiconductor wafers. Plaintiff CFM Technologies, Inc. is the exclusive licensee of the '761 patent.
