Foreign plaintiffs George Hart and Ann Law brought this action against their attorneys for failing to procure appropriate visas, licenses, and permits to enable their business, Holy Loch Distributors, Inc., to lawfully sell beer in South Carolina. Defendants moved for dismissal of the complaint under Rule 12(b)(6), SCRCP for failure to state a cause of action. The trial court dismissed the complaint as barred by the statute of limitations.
