This suit arises from a number of decisions that the Ford Motor Company made not to promote Mark Stolzenburg, then an employee of almost twenty years, to a more senior managerial position. Mr. Stolzenburg alleges, first, that, shortly after his fortieth birthday, Ford removed him from "Private Salary Role" (PSR) status and designated him as "Appropriately Placed" (AP), which meant at best that he was presumptively ineligible...
