Rosemary Emory was killed when an F/A-18 jet fighter crashed and slid into her truck. Appellant Harold Emory, her husband, sued the manufacturer of the aircraft, the McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), under myriad strict liability and negligence theories.
