LAVERY, J.

The dispositive issue in this appeal from the judgment of the trial court dismissing on jurisdictional grounds the defendant's motion for modification of child support is whether the trial court has jurisdiction to modify a valid postmajority support order absent a written agreement by the parties giving it the power to modify. We hold that it does not and affirm the trial court's judgment.
