Dale H. Davidson appeals from a judgment of conviction for second-degree sexual assault of his thirteen-year-old niece, contrary to § 948.02(2), STATS., as a repeater. Davidson argues that the trial court erred in admitting into evidence his prior conviction for sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl in 1985. He contends that the dissimilarities between the two cases seriously undermine the probative value of the evidence in establishing motive...
