Robert Nichelson appeals a judgment of conviction and an order denying his postconviction request to withdraw a no contest plea to one count of first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of thirteen. Nichelson argues that the court erred by finding that he understood the nature and elements of the offense at the time he entered his plea. We agree and reverse the trial court because Nichelson's plea was accepted without the trial court's conformance...
