Defendants-appellants John Georgopoulos and Robert Skeries appeal from a March 27, 1998 judgment of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (Denis R. Hurley, Judge) convicting them, after a jury trial, of conspiracy to accept payments as officers of a labor organization, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371, and acceptance of payments as officers of a labor organization, in violation of 29 U.S.C. § 186(b).
