In 1993, Arturo Perez shot and killed Michael Becker with a sawed-off shotgun during a confrontation on the front lawn of Julie Olson's home. The Estate of Michael Becker, by its Special Administrator, Nancy G. Becker (the Estate), subsequently brought suit against Olson.
