¶ 1 On July 16, 1997, plaintiffs filed a motion seeking specific performance of a settlement agreement, or, in the alternative, an order requiring arbitration pursuant to the Montana Uniform Arbitration Act. After a hearing, the District Court entered an order granting the plaintiffs specific performance rather than ordering the parties to submit to arbitration.
