The State appeals from a judgment in a condemnation action. The State filed a condemnation action against property owners John C. Gray and Linda D. Gray on February 3, 1997, for acquisition of a highway right-of-way in Baldwin County. On April 22, 1997, three commissioners, duly appointed by the probate court, assessed the damages for condemnation of the Grays' property at $129,500.
