The defendant, James Kevin Woods, was charged by bill of information with one count of armed robbery. La. R.S. 14:64. He pleaded not guilty, and after trial by jury, was found guilty as charged. The defendant was sentenced to fifty years at hard labor. A habitual offender petition was filed against the defendant charging him as a fourth felony habitual offender.
