OPINION

HOFFMAN, Judge.

This interlocutory appeal stems from a complaint by plaintiffs for damages caused when a car driven by Freddie Edwards, in which Shannette Kirkwood was a passenger, was struck by a truck driven by defendant Dale Sisler and owned by INSYNC UPLINC, INC. [collectively Sisler]. The trial court granted Sisler's motion for leave to amend his answer to include a nonparty defense based upon the medical malpractice of Kirkwood's treating physician...
