Appellant James Randall Efurd and his wife Alisa were charged with first-degree murder for causing the death of their nine-month-old infant daughter, Ollie. Alisa's case was severed, and this appeal involves the State's case against Randall. Randall was seventeen years old at the time of the crime, and was tried and found guilty by a jury which then sentenced him to life imprisonment. He raises six points for reversal.
