Appellees, Ha Van Le and Bay V. Nguyen, sued appellants, J & J Marine, Inc. ("J & J") and Fred B. Johnson, for negligence, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of the Uniform Commercial Code, fraud, and misrepresentation/violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices—Consumer Protection Act.
