ARMSTRONG, Judge.

We grant certiorari to consider the correctness of a trial court ruling denying the State's motion in limine. The issue is whether testimony from a prior hearing which was begun as a suppression hearing can be used under La.C.E. art. 801 D(1)(a) as substantive evidence of a defendant's guilt. We affirm.
