BOONE v. STATE

No. CR 98-284.

976 S.W.2d 921 (1998)

334 Ark. 452

Guy Anthony BOONE, Appellant, v. STATE of Arkansas, Appellee.

Supreme Court of Arkansas.

October 8, 1998.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

David W. Talley, Jr., Magnolia, for Appellant.

Winston Bryant, Atty. Gen., Litle Rock, Brad Newman, Asst. Atty. Gen., Little Rock, for Appellee.

IMBER, Justice.

Appellant Guy Anthony Boone was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. Mr. Boone's sole challenge on appeal is that the trial court erred when it denied his motion to suppress an inculpatory custodial statement. We find no merit in Mr. Boone's challenge to the voluntariness of his custodial statement and, thus, affirm the trial court's denial of his motion to suppress.
