Washington's prevailing wage statute1 requires that employers pay the prevailing wage to their laborers, workers, or mechanics upon all public works of the State or political subdivisions that are created by its laws. Because Steve Heller, a mechanic, performed work that qualified under the statute, we reverse the dismissal of his wage claim and remand with instructions.
