CHAPEL, Presiding Judge:

¶ 1 Faramarz Mehdipour was tried by jury and convicted in the District Court of Oklahoma County, Case No. CF-91-3221, of Attempting to Intimidate a State's Witness in violation of 21 O.S.1991, § 455. In accordance with the jury's recommendation the Honorable James L. Gullet sentenced Mehdipour to sixty (60) years imprisonment.
