Defendant was charged with possession of a controlled substance. ORS 475.992(4). The state appeals from an order suppressing evidence discovered during a search of defendant's purse and car. The state contends that under State v. Hadley, 146 Or.App. 166, 932 P.2d 1194 (1997), the search was proper. Pursuant to State v. Toevs, 327 Or. 525
