Appellant Devlin Jefferson appeals from his conviction for aggravated assault on a public servant. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 22.02(a)(2), (b)(2) (West 1994). The jury found that appellant used his hands as a deadly weapon in the commission of the offense and assessed appellant's punishment, enhanced by prior felony convictions, at imprisonment for 35 years.
