¶ 1. Robert Johnson and Catherine Pogue were granted a divorce by the Superior Court of California in 1989. After the divorce, Mr. Johnson relocated to Virginia and Ms. Pogue returned to Mississippi. Mr. Johnson was involuntarily retired from the Navy in 1994. He filed a petition in Mississippi for registration of a foreign judgment and a motion seeking a modification of the California judgment.
