Defendant Kathleen Giles appeals her jury conviction for one count of public assistance fraud relating to food stamp overpayments. The State cross-appeals, arguing that the trial court erred in granting defendant's Motion to Arrest Judgment on the jury's verdict as to the additional count of public assistance fraud relating to Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) benefit overpayments.
