This case presents claims for property damage and alleged related losses arising from a fire that destroyed several buildings at the race track owned by the Fair Grounds Corporation on the evening of December 17, 1993. After an investigation into the cause of the fire, the Fair Grounds brought suit against the alarm company which had previously installed a fire protection system at the racing facility.
